Murals That Tell the Story of a Place

Banks Compton is an Alabama mural artist and public artist creating large-scale artwork for cities, businesses, schools, libraries, organizations, and communities.

A Rhode Island School of Design alumnus, Banks has created more than 100 murals across 10 states, working with everyone from small towns and local businesses to major brands and public institutions.

His murals are rooted in storytelling, nature, local culture, and community, transforming ordinary walls into artwork designed specifically around the people and places they represent.
